TCA World Championships of Cornhole

The season's final stage.

Held during the first full week of July, the TCA World Championships of Cornhole cap each season. Qualifying is earned across every sanctioned Local and Major played throughout the TCA Season.

Qualifying

Earn your way in.

Play TCA Locals and Majors throughout the season — your best finishes build your division standings.

Locals

10 best finishes

Play as many TCA Locals as you like — only your 10 best finishes per division count. Points from any tier roll into the same bucket.

Majors

5 best finishes

Your 5 best Major finishes per division contribute, regardless of tier. Local and Major points add together to form your Worlds Standings total.

The 50-point minimum

To compete at Worlds, players and teams must meet a minimum point threshold in the division they want to enter. Most core divisions require 50 points; a few do not.

Gold Zone Tickets

Earn a free seat on the floor.

Certain end-of-season statuses earn a player or team a free TCA Gold Zone ticket to the World Championships.

TCA Elite 8

The Top 8 Ranked PROs in the TCA World Singles division at season’s end — the TCA Elite 8 — each receive a free Gold Zone ticket.

Player of the Season

Winning Player of the Season in Women's Singles, Senior Singles, Junior Singles, or Blind Draw earns a free Gold Zone ticket to Worlds.

Team of the Season

Winning Team of the Season in World Doubles or Mixed Doubles earns both teammates a free Gold Zone ticket in that division.

At Worlds

Bracket format.

Large divisions split into multiple brackets that play down to a reseeded Final Four. The road to the championship is always earned on the floor — never via regular-season records.

Split brackets & the Final Four

When a division grows past 64 players/teams (or 128 for Blind Draw Doubles), it splits into multiple brackets. Each split plays down until four finalists remain overall. Those finalists enter a TCA Final Four bracket reseeded by TCA Standings for that division. Records from split-bracket play do NOT carry over — the Final Four starts fresh.

All divisions listed on the Rules page are offered at Worlds, including World Singles, World Doubles, Women's Singles & Doubles, Junior Singles & Doubles, Senior Singles & Doubles, Mixed Doubles, Open Blind Draw, and TCA Spin.

PRO Status & Season Honors

The TCA Season concludes with more than a champion. PRO Status, Player of the Season, and Team of the Season are all decided by season-long play.

TCA PRO Status

Top 20 Ranked PROs come out of the World Singles Standings (valid two seasons). Unranked PRO paths come from World Doubles, Mixed Doubles, Women's Singles, and Final 4 finishes at Worlds Singles.
